And, I don’t think that strokes, seizures, etc. Though I am not afraid to describe this feeling, I know that there are those persons who might use my description to point out a clinical diagnosis harkening back to my 12-13 year old self hearing my first clinical only definition. In deja vu, I experience an additional kind of physiological “feeling” which does not occur with my premonitions. Something about them makes me see them as different phenomenon. Though both seems to be dual perceptions of the future - once in the past and once in the present (aka, the future of the past) - they do not seem to be equal to me. Assuming deja vu is psychic or paranormal in nature, as premonitions are categorized, the two “feel” different to me. So to Debi’s point regarding description of deja vu, I can be open to several possible explanations for same, but I must share my own experiences which might not fit into the description in the opening post of this thread.įirst, I have experienced hundreds (probably very low number like 200-300) of instances of deja vu and, I’ve experienced many, many dozens of premonitions in my life. The above hefty text is still a ways from my earlier post regarding a unique feeling accompanying deja vu. Science’s position as she stated it could not explain what I was experiencing.
I understood what she shared and knew that science was not all it was cracked up to be. She immediately told me something which has stuck with me to today.that deja vu is explained as the two hemispheres of the brain perceiving the same occurrence microseconds apart this creating the phenomenon of one experiencing the same event at different points in time. I even had the mindfulness to take a college student studying psychology (she was the cousin of a friend and neighbor) aside at age 12 or 13 and asked her about science’s then present description of deja vu. I know for certain that I was experiencing something which was a perception of retrospective premonitions - or deja vu - at age 12. And I repeatedly post about my experiences with empathy, telepathy, and premonitions.īut I was certainly experiencing what I should have perceived and reported as the paranormal years earlier in the form of deja vu. So I have posted here on the PNF countless times, including just a week ago, that I “recognize” my psychic self awaking as early as 16 years old. Okay, I could get interrupted so I apologize if this post is cut off abruptly - I promise to finish later.
